Description: Checks that AWS Security Hub is enabled for an AWS Account. The rule is NON_COMPLIANT if AWS Security Hub is not enabled.


Trigger type: Periodic


AWS Region: All supported AWS regions except China (Beijing), Asia Pacific (Jakarta), Africa (Cape Town), Middle East (UAE), Asia Pacific (Hyderabad), Asia Pacific (Osaka), Asia Pacific (Melbourne), Europe (Milan), Israel (Tel Aviv), Canada West (Calgary), Europe (Spain), China (Ningxia), Europe (Zurich) Region


How to Resolve Manually

To resolve this manually, you will need to enable AWS Security Hub from the Security Hub service dashboard page. 


From there, if you wish to enable this service which will come with an additional cost of running, hit the orange "Go to Security Hub" button on the main landing page.


From here, you will be able to decide which security standards to enable, before accepting to enable Security Hub within AWS, as shown on the image below;
