Highlights

New Features:

  • We've introduced the IAM Policy Visualizer feature in the Identity Management section. With this feature, users can now easily filter IAM policies by account and gain a clear visualization of the permissions associated with each policy. The visualizer presents the services and actions granted by these policies in an interactive, user-friendly table format, making it easier than ever to understand and manage your IAM policies efficiently. This feature is released as experimental. To try it out, you need to enable "Experimental Features" from the Organization Details page.
  • We've added a new service to the Operations > Resource Management > Integration screen: SSM Documents

Enhancements

  • Contact Center: Now you can click on the instance alias link, and you will be redirected to the resource management section according to the selected instance.
  • Operations > Advisor: now you can filter by multiple accounts.

Bug Fixes

  • Identity Management > Permission Set: You can choose whether AWS Regions and Source IP Address restrictions apply. Now it is not mandatory to add both.
  • Fixed bugs in the Audit Trail section: When the user applied the filters, the service returned "Network Error."
  • Contact Center > Queue Details Modal Error: We have resolved an issue where the service list-phone-number was returning a 500 Internal Server Error when users attempted to open the queue details on a selected instance. This issue occurred specifically if users first added hours of operation and then attempted to add a queue, which blocked them from closing the modal. This has been fixed, and the modal now functions as expected.
  • Contact Center > Edit Phone Number Action Error: We have addressed a bug where the list-phone-number service would return a 500 Internal Server Error when users updated the contact flow ID and sent an empty value in the Edit Phone Number action. Although this field is not required in the API gateway, the error was causing disruptions. This issue has been corrected, ensuring smoother operation during phone number edits.
  • We've fixed an issue affecting the Reports, Operations, & Cost Management features. Previously, when users attempted to sort any column in the report tables, the system generated empty reports. This issue has been fixed, and you can now sort columns without getting empty reports.
  • General UI improvements

Known Issues

  • We are improving our platform's response times for the different screens. In the meantime, you might experience some slowdowns.
  • Sustainability > Reports: It is not possible to enable a subscription, download a report, or see the history.
  • Identity Management > Access Analyzer: When users select all items on the table and try to perform an action such as archive or unarchive all of them, a modal listing all the items appears. This causes a screen block if there are too many resources, as the modal does not have a scroll function nor cannot be closed.
  • Deployment History: You may experience a 500 error if the user has several pending modifications.

Highlights (early August)

New Features:

  • We are thrilled to announce the launch of our new Contact Center feature, designed to streamline the creation and management of Amazon Connect instances. This powerful feature enables users to effortlessly establish multi-account-multi-region contact centers through a single, intuitive interface. Within the Contact Center > Instances section, users can seamlessly create Amazon Connect instances. The feature enhances efficiency by facilitating essential actions directly from the Instances table, including adding users, routing profiles, claim numbers, operational hours, queues, approved domain contact flows, and prompts. This feature is released as experimental. To try it out, you need to enable "Experimental Features" from Organization Details page.
  • We've added AWS Secrets Manager services to the Operations > Resource Management > Security screen.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a bug in the Security Compliance Dashboard where the page was not rendering properly because of the number of API calls.
  • Fixed a bug in Advisor where the recommendations table did not show the list of resources for each recommendation.

Known Issues

  • Contact Center: When the user tries to open the queue details modal on a selected instance, the service list-phone-number returns a 500 internal server error, blocking the user from closing the modal. This happens if the user first adds hours of operation, and then tries to add a queue.
  • Contact Center: list-phone-number returns a 500 error when the user updates the contact flow ID and sends an empty value in the Edit phone number action. That field is not required in the API gateway.
  • Sustainability > Reports: It is not possible to enable a subscription, download a report, or see the history.
  • Reports Operations & Cost Management: When users attempt to sort any column, the table generates empty reports.
  • Identity Management > Access Analyzer: When users select all items on the table and try to perform an action such as archive or unarchive all of them, a modal listing all the items appears. This causes a screen block if there are too many resources, as the modal does not have a scroll function and cannot be closed.
  • Deployment History: you may experience a 500 error if the user has several pending modifications.
