Highlights (late January)

New Features:

  • In Cost Management and Operations > Reports, you can now create or modify subscriptions for each report to receive an email on an indicated schedule.
  • We are excited to introduce the "History" feature in the Reports section, designed to enhance your reporting experience by providing comprehensive tracking of report activities.
The "Reports History" feature generates a detailed log of report activities based on subscriptions and download events. Each report generated will now have a corresponding entry in the history, optimizing report generation processes. When a report is downloaded, it is generated and stored for future access. This eliminates the need to regenerate reports upon each download request.
The report history is generated either upon downloading the report or when the subscription schedule runs, whichever occurs first.

Bug Fixes

  • Hotfix: fixed a bug in Operations > Account Management in which the user cannot create a new AWS Account from StackZone.
  • Fixed a bug in Operations > Resource Management > Networking, where the users were not allowed to execute the Edit DNS resolution and the Edit DNS hostnames actions.

  • Fixed a bug in the Well-Architected section that previously required users to provide a new improvement status when attempting to edit the name of a workload. Now, if a user tries to edit a workload, that field is optional.
  • General UI improvements
  • Fixed a bug in the Account Management section where some clients could not see the total of their AWS accounts.

Enhancements

  • In the Access Management screen, now you do not need to go back to the Users tab and click on the "Apply" button to execute an action. The changes are applied immediately from the popup after clicking on the "Confirm" button.
  • Now, in the Reports table, users can easily identify whether they have enabled a subscription for a specific report through a bell icon. If the subscription is enabled for a report, the icon will appear in a violet color. Otherwise, the icon will be grayed out, indicating that the subscription is not active.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a bug in the Access Management section. When adding a user with a certain role, it changed to another when refreshing the screen.
  • Fixed a bug in the Access Management screen that enabled the "Apply" button even if you have not performed any action.
  • Fixed a bug in the Billing section where some clients reported missing data.

Known Issues

  • It's not possible to review the details in Cost Management > Optimize > Findings if you don't have Experimental Features enabled. This is because the Optimize screen depends partially on Cost Management > Optimize > Recommendations, which is still experimental.
  • When answering the Performance Efficiency questions on a Well Architected Review, make sure to select "No" in the "none of these" options when applicable.
