Highlights

New Features:

  • Operations > Resource Management > Databases > RDS: We've introduced a new feature in our Resource Management the Databases section, specifically focused on managing your Amazon RDS resources, from here you will have the chance to perform various actions on the resources based on your specific needs. You will find a range of actions at your disposal, designed to empower you with comprehensive resource management capabilities. The available actions include:
    • Start: Initiate your Amazon RDS instances, bringing them online and ready for use.
    • Stop: Pause your Amazon RDS instances, temporarily suspending their operations and reducing associated costs.
    • Reboot: Trigger a reboot for your Amazon RDS instances, allowing you to resolve potential issues or apply necessary updates.
    • Terminate: Safely terminate your Amazon RDS instances when they are no longer required, freeing up resources and optimizing costs.
    • Termination Protection: Enable termination protection to prevent accidental termination of critical Amazon RDS instances.
    • Create Snapshots: Easily create snapshots of your Amazon RDS instances, enabling you to capture their current state for future reference or backup purposes.
These powerful actions provide you with the flexibility to manage your Amazon RDS resources seamlessly while streamlining your operations and ensuring efficient utilization of your database infrastructure.

  • Operations > Resource Management > Integrations Services > Amazon SQS: We've added to the Integration Services screen, Amazon SQS. This update empowers you to efficiently manage your SQS queues. The following actions can now be performed in this section:
    • Purging Queues: you can now easily purge the contents of their SQS queues. This action clears all messages from the queue, providing a clean slate for new data processing.
    • Editing Encryption Settings: Integration Services now allows you to modify the encryption settings of their SQS queues. This ensures that sensitive data is securely transmitted and stored within the queue.
    • Deleting Queues: you can now delete SQS queues directly from the Integration Services interface. This simplifies the management process by eliminating the need to switch between different platforms or interfaces.

  • Operations > Resource Management > Storage > Amazon EBS Volumes: We've introduced a new feature in our Resource Management the Storage section, specifically focusing on EBS Volumes. This update introduces enhanced capabilities for efficiently managing Volumes, providing more control and flexibility in your cloud infrastructure. From this section, you will have the ability to select multiple volumes and perform actions on them simultaneously. This streamlines your workflow by allowing you to perform actions such as detach and delete multiple Volumes at once, saving you time and effort. In addition to the bulk actions, we have also added individual actions directly from the Volumes table. Now you can easily perform actions like detach, delete, create snapshots, and attach on individual Volumes with just a few clicks.

  • Cost Management > Optimize > Finding: We've introduced in the Cost Management section the v1 of the Optimize screen. In this first version, we will provide you with valuable insights into resource optimization. With the new Finding screen, you can now easily visualize information about different resources through interactive doughnut charts. These charts represent the optimization status of EC2 Instances, ECS Services, Auto Scaling Groups, EBS Volumes, and Lambda Functions.

*Note: The Resource Management feature is currently in experimental mode, you can access it and explore its capabilities by enabling this option in Settings > Organization Details section. However, please note that as an experimental feature, there may be bugs or unexpected behavior

Enhancements

  • We've made a major overhaul to improve the general user experience in the Users screen. Now you can update users, create domains and perform several actions without the need of saving after each change.
