Platform Updates: November 2023

New Features:

• User session management:

Added user logout feature on the Access Management > Users section. Now, users with the SuperAdmin and Administrator roles will be able to logout users from the StackZone console by clicking on the Logout users icon in the table

• Operations:
  You can now download your reports as a PDF from the reports section.

• Extend session time: Now, when your session is about to expire due to inactivity, you'll see a countdown popup starting one minute before the session closure. If you click "Continue Working" before the countdown ends, your session will be extended, allowing you to work uninterrupted. However, if you don't click the button in time, you'll be securely logged out and redirected to the login screen.

• Fixed Utilization report chart, now it always shows the last 12 months spent and the current month at the right, even if no billing information is available.
• Fixed a bug in the Account Management feature where the validations were not working properly.
• Fixed a bug where unmanaged OUs were being shown to the user for creating/onboarding an account.
• Fixed a bug in Security Compliance where, when selecting a radio button from any page other than the first within the table, it would redirect to the first page again
• Fixed a bug in Well-Architected where the filters were not working properly
• Added Info Panels to the Operations and Settings sections.

• Log out: After a long period of inactivity in the console, the popup for extending the session time appears. In some cases, when selecting the option to extend the active session, it redirects to the login screen, even if the waiting time has not yet been met.
• Operations > Resource Finder: a window can be opened when clicking on the table when there are 0 tags on the resource.
• Operations > Well Architected > Workloads: when completing questions on a specific workload, the upgrade banner overlaps with the title of the workload.
• Audit Trail shows UTC as the timestamp but this may be incorrect. Use the time field inside each call for the correct timestamp.

New Features:

• AWS > Cost Management > Reports Subscriptions: From now on you will be able to create or modify a subscription for each report and receive an email according to the indicated cadence.

• Added these new resource types to Operations > Resource Finder:
  Amazon API Gateway (REST API)

AWS Backup (Backup Plan)

AWS CloudFormation Stack

AWS CloudFormation StackSet

AWS CloudTrail (Trail)

• Added functionality to switch between clouds from the side menu and the cloud selector in the Dashboard section
• Access Management > Users & Domains: We completely redesigned the layout of this screen. We are still working on improving the user experience. To know more about this feature, please refer to the documentation. 

• Fixed a bug in Settings > Audit Trail where the timestamp was incorrect. Now the audit record is shown in UTC
• Fixed a bug in Operations > Resource Finder where you can open the modal even having zero tags
• Fixed a bug in the Sign Up > Invite User process where the phone validation was not working properly
• Fixed a bug in Settings > Billing section where the user couldn't delete a payment method.

• Incorrect screen size at Access Management.
• The upgrade banner does not appear on the dashboard screen.
• Subscriptions: The emails take around 26 minutes to be sent from the set time.
• Subscriptions: The weekly subscription sends the email on a daily basis.
• Access Management screen: If you want to add a new domain, you will need to return to the Users tab in order to click the Apply button.
